CUSTOM LUXURY HOME CONSTRUCTION
Your Architect Has the Vision. We Make Sure It Gets Built That Way.
Building a custom home in The Hamptons is one of the most significant projects you will ever undertake. The distance between a home you love and a process that grinds you down comes down to one thing: who you put in charge of building it.
Home Enterprises has been doing this work for over 55 years. Not in a showroom. On the job site.
CUSTOM HOMES
Your Architect Has the Vision. We Make Sure It Gets Built That Way.
Building a custom home on the East End is one of the most significant projects you will ever undertake. The distance between a home you love and a process that grinds you down comes down to one thing: who you put in charge of building it.
Home Enterprises has been doing this work for over 55 years. Not in a showroom. On the job site.
Custom Home Building in The Hamptons. Built to Exacting Standards.
A custom home is built entirely to your specifications. Your land. Your architect. Your design. Every decision, from foundation to final finish, is made with your input and executed to a standard that holds up long after the last contractor has left.
On the East End, custom home construction carries its own complexity. Local building codes, village permits, architectural review boards, and a limited pool of experienced trades all shape how a project runs. Working with a builder who has navigated this environment for decades is not a detail. It is the difference between a project that moves and one that stalls.
A properly built Hamptons custom home is a serious investment. The return on that investment, financial and personal, depends on the quality of what is behind the walls. Not just what is in front of them. That is the standard we build to.
For Clients Who Expect More From Their Hamptons Builder
Not every project calls for a custom build. But when it does, the clients who find their way to us tend to share a few things in common.
They have a vision and the resources to execute it properly. They are not looking for shortcuts and they do not want to hear about them after the fact.
They are working with an architect whose design matters to them. They want a builder who will deliver that design faithfully, at the level it was intended.
They have enough experience to know that communication is not a courtesy on a construction project. It is the whole thing. And they expect it without having to ask.
They care about the quality of the build as much as the result. Because they understand that one determines the other.

The Build Process
A well-run project does not eliminate complexity. It manages it before it becomes a problem. Here is how we work.
The First Walk
Before anything else, Craig Watson walks the site and reviews the plans. With 55 years of building experience covering custom estate construction, major renovations, and historic restorations requiring exacting precision, Craig knows early what a project will require. Issues that surface in week one cost a fraction of what they cost at month six.
A Seamless Extension of Your Design Team
Nearly every client comes to us with an architect and plans in hand. Our job from that point forward is to execute that vision completely and protect its integrity through every phase of construction. We are in regular contact with the design team throughout the build. When questions arise in the field, they get answered quickly and correctly, not improvised.

Transparent Pricing. No Surprises.
You will know what things cost and why. We price work straight. No buried line items. No change orders for things that should have been accounted for at the start. If something is going to affect your timeline or your budget, you hear it from us before you see it on an invoice.
The Build
Craig’s crew has been with him for over 25 years, trained by him, to his standards. Until recently he was on the tools himself. That does not change when the foreman takes over. Every phase is supervised. Every trade is accountable. We move efficiently and we do not confuse speed with carelessness.
Communication You Can Count On
You will never be left wondering what is happening on your project. We are on site every day. Problems get reported, not buried. Decisions that need your input get to you clearly and promptly. Time is valuable on both sides of a build and we treat it that way.
Why Architects and Their Clients Trust Home Enterprises
55 Years of East End Building Experience
Craig Watson learned to build alongside his father. Since then he has built custom estates, executed major renovations, and completed historic restorations that required a level of precision few builders in this market can match. That range of experience shows up every day on a job site, in the kind of judgment that only comes from decades of doing the work.
25 Years Building Together
Michael and Craig have worked side by side for 25 years, long before Home Enterprises existed as a company. That history means no learning curve, no misalignment, and no ambiguity when something needs to get solved. Two people with that much shared experience run a fundamentally different kind of project.

A Crew Built to One Standard
The team on your job site has been with Craig for more than 25 years. They were not placed by an agency or borrowed from another project. They were trained directly by Craig, to his way of working. That kind of consistency cannot be assembled on short notice. It is earned over time.
We Say What We Mean
We have built our reputation in this market on one thing above everything else: straight talk. You will hear the truth about what your project requires, what it will cost, and what the timeline looks like before you commit to anything. The architects and clients who come back to us, and who refer others to us, do so because they know they can count on that.

Let’s Talk About What You’re Building
Whether you are in the early planning stages or already have plans in hand, we would like to hear about your project. Reach out and we will set up a conversation. No pressure, no pitch. Just a straightforward discussion about what you are trying to accomplish and whether we are the right team to help you get there.
